In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices, and houses.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 11 April, 2024 at 10:30 AM, a report stated that a man injured by mine shrapnel arrived at Circuit Hospital in Kyarhnyut Village, Tabeikkyin Township, Mandalay Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the Hospital and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that Ko Htoo Zaw (25 years old), who lives in Latpankone Village, was returning along the Bhamo-Mandalay road from Kyarhnyut Village after shopping. As he neared Salzinkone Village, an explosive device planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group, exploded on the roadside, resulting in shrapnel injuries to Ko Htoo Zaw, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with the law.
