In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 27 April, 2024 at 8:00 AM, a report stated that an explosion occurred on the roadside located between Paw-U Ward and Myittharmyaing Ward in Taze Township, Sagaing Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that the explosion was caused by an explosive device planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group, which exploded at the site. As a result, U Ko Ko Aung (40 years old), who lives in Paw-U Ward, who was riding his motorcycle alone at the time, sustained injuries from shrapnel and was transported to Mandalay Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with the law.
