Terrorists carried out inhumane acts using explosive devices by capitalizing on unguarded moments of security personnel

In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 1 May, 2024 at 2:00 PM, U Soe Thint Oo (41 years old), resident of Thaday Pin Village Hmawbi Township, Yangon Region, was travelling in a 12-wheeled vehicle (License Plate No. YGN 6H/XXXX) from Monywa Town to Mandalay City. Likewise, U Aung Kyaw Myint (45 years old) and U Aung Zin Soe (29 years old), both from Thin Pan Kone Ward, Pyigyitagun Township, Mandalay Region, were travelling in a Hijet (License Plate No. MDY 3M/XXXX) from Myaung Town to Mandalay City. As these two vehicles neared Kan Pyar Village, Myinmu Township, Sagaing Region, an explosive device, planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group, exploded at the roadside. The explosion caused all three men to sustain shrapnel injuries, and they were transported to Mandalay Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with the law.
