Terrorists carried out inhumane acts using explosive devices by capitalizing on unguarded moments of security personnel

     In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.
     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 6 May, 2024 at 1:40 PM, Ma Kway Kway (25 years old), U Thauk Khyar (38 years old) and Daw Moe Khin (50 years old), who all live in Than Ngar Village, Madaya Township, Mandalay Region, were returning to their village on a motorcycle from the Yaenanthar toll gate in Madaya Township. As they approached the Thanyin Inn Ngar Kan intersection on the Mandalay-Mogoke Road, between mileposts 27/7 and 28, an explosive device, planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group, exploded at the roadside. The explosion resulted in the death of Ma Kway Kway was dead due to shrapnel wounds, while U Thauk Khyar and Daw Moe Khin sustained injuries from shrapnel. The deceased and injured were transported to Madaya Township Public Hospital for examination and medical treatment, it is reported.
     It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with the law.
