Terrorists carried out inhumane acts using explosive devices by capitalizing on unguarded moments of security personnel

In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, streets, railways, government offices, and houses.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 8 May, 2024 at 5:00 AM, a report stated that an explosive occurred near Tone Taw Village, Kyaukgyi Township, Bago Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that Mg John Ko (15 years old), Mg Pyae Sone Aung (16 years old), and Mg Hein Htet Aung (15 years old), residents of the village, were returning on a motorcycle from a location located approximately six furlongs east of Tone Taw Village. As they were in the vicinity of the village, an explosive device, planted by a group of KNU members who support terrorism and the so-called PDF terrorists, exploded at the roadside. As a result, they sustained injuries from shrapnel and were transported to Phyu Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with the law.
