In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, streets, railways, government offices, and houses.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 27 December at 12:55 PM, a report stated that an explosion occurred on Hlaing River Road in Pauktaw Ward of Insein Township, Yangon Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that an improvised mine, planted by a terrorist (under investigation), exploded beneath and behind a black Toyota Mark II vehicle parked in front of the “Gangaw” Desktop Publishing shop, located opposite the entrance/exit gate of Insein Central Prison. As a result, the vehicle’s rear bumper sustained damage. Moreover, Ma Pyae Pyae Phyo (21 years old) and Ma War War Nwe (39 years old), who were passing by at the time of the explosion, sustained injuries from mine shrapnel. They were transported to Insein Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with the law.
An improvised mine explosion occurred under a vehicle parked on the roadside of Hlaing River Road in Pauktaw Ward of Insein Township,
resulting in the destruction of the vehicle and injuries to two females.
