In order to cause injuries to both peaceable individuals and administrative authorities who are working to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, streets, railways, departmental offices, and residential houses.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 3 September at 11:00 AM, according to the report indicated that individuals injured by mine shrapnel were receiving medical treatment at the Myaung Township Public Hospital, security personnel went to the hospital to inspect. Upon inspection, it was found that U Soe Ko Ko (35 years old) and Ma Tun Maw Thein (27 years old) who both live in Alal Ward of Myaung Town, as well as Ma Ei Wai Khine (33 years old) who lives in Mayoekone Village of Myaung Township, had sustained injuries to their heads, hands and legs from mine shrapnel. The incident was verified that on the same day at 10:45 AM, a homemade mine planted by so-called PDF terrorists detonated near the junction of the No. (2) Basic Education Primary School in Alal Ward of Myaung Town. As a result of the explosion, U Soe Ko Ko and Ma Tun Maw Thein, who both live in close proximity to the blast site, as well as Ma Ei Wai Khine who happened to be passing by on a motorcycle, sustained above mentioned injuries, it is reported.
Similarly, at 11:00 AM, Mg Thet Myo Thu (12 years old) who lives in Kinegyi Village of Madaya Township in Mandalay Region, was herding cows in a grazing field near the Village, when a homemade mine planted by so-called PDF terrorists exploded. As a result of the explosion, Mg Thet Myo Thu sustained injuries from mine shrapnel to his head and face and is currently receiving medical treatment at the Madaya Township Public Hospital, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the perpetrators of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with laws.
