In order to cause injuries to both peaceable individuals and administrative authorities who are working to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, streets, railways, departmental offices, and residential houses.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 4 September at 11:10 AM, according to the report that an explosion occurred near Wetlet Town in Wetlet Township, Sagaing Region, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. According to the investigation, it is found that Ma Win Nandar Soe (21 years old) who lives in No. (1) Ward of Wetlet Township, was returning home from Konegyi Village. When she arrived near Wetlet Town, a homemade mine planted by a so called PDF terrorist group exploded. As a result, Ma Win Nandar Soe sustained injuries from mine shrapnel and was transported to the Wetlet Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Similarly, at 11:15 AM, according to the report that an explosion occurred at the Myanma Economic Bank located in Aungmingalar (1) Ward of Patheingyi Township, Mandalay Region, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. According to the investigation, it is found that two male terrorists (under scrutiny) riding a motorcycle along Tharaphi Street in front of the bank, threw a homemade bomb at the bank before fleeing. The homemade bomb hit and exploded at the brick fence in front of the bank building. As a result, there were no injuries or damage to people or buildings, it is reported.
Similarly, on 5 September at 06:20 AM, according to the report that an explosion occurred in Wunhtan Ward of Kalwin Village in Myeik Township, Tanintharyi Region, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. According to the investigation, it is found that a homemade mine had detonated under the eaves in front of the house of Daw Khin Cho (60 years old) who lives at the corner of Panchan (1) street in this Ward. As a result, approximately one foot of the concrete floor, the iron door of the house and window panes of a neighbouring house on the opposite side were damaged, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the perpetrators of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with laws.
