In order to cause injuries to both peaceable individuals and administrative authorities who are working to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, departmental offices, and residential houses.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 14 September at 07:30 AM, Daw Tin Oo (57 years old) who lives in Ngamyitchin Village of Phyu Township in Bago Region, along with her son Mg Khant Lin Aung (22 years old), were working in their field near the Village, when a homemade mine planted by KNU members who support terrorism and so-called PDF terrorists exploded. As a result of the explosion, both of them sustained injuries from mine shrapnel and are currently receiving medical treatment at the Phyu Township Public Hospital, it is reported.
Similarly, at 09:40 PM, U Zin Yaw (51 years old) who lives in Hanntel Ward of Bhamo Town in Kachin State, was returning home in a YGN 7H/XXXX LANDCRUISER motor vehicle after finishing work. When he arrived in front of his rubber farm house, he stopped the vehicle and opened the gate. At that moment, a homemade mine planted by KIA members who support terrorism and so-called PDF terrorists exploded. As a result of the explosion, U Zin Yaw sustained injuries from mine shrapnel to his neck, hand, abdomen and back. Additionally, the vehicle was slightly damaged, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the perpetrators of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with laws.
