In order to cause injuries to both peaceable individuals and administrative authorities who are working to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, departmental offices, and residential houses.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 22 September at 02:45 PM, U Sein Myo (50 years old), who lives in Kinnbyar Village of Shwebo Township, Sagaing Region, was herding cows on the Kinbyar irrigation canal boundary road (locally known as) located approximately four furlongs south of the Village, when he stepped on a homemade mine laid by so-called PDF terrorists which exploded on the left side of the canal boundary road. As a result, U Sein Myo sustained injuries from mine shrapnel to his back, hand and leg. He is currently receiving medical treatment at the Shwebo District Public Hospital, it is reported.
Similarly, on 23 September at 06:30 AM, U Tun Oo (58 years old) along with his wife Daw Tint (62 years old), who both live in Theelone Village of Shwebo Township, were working in their field located approximately 10 miles southwest of Theelone Village, when a homemade mine planted by so-called PDF terrorists exploded. As a result, U Tun Oo and Daw Tint sustained injuries from mine shrapnel to their shoulders, chests and legs. They are currently receiving medical treatment at the Shwebo District Public Hospital, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the perpetrators of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with laws.
