Terrorists carried out terrorist acts using explosive devices by capitalizing on unguarded moments of security personnel

     In order to cause injuries to both peaceable individuals and administrative authorities who are working to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, departmental offices, and residential houses.
     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 19 September at 05:20 PM, according to the report indicated that an explosion occurred in front of the “CS” hotel located in No. (2) Ward of Lashio Township in Shan State (Northern), security personnel went to the scene and conducted an investigation. The investigation revealed that two male terrorists (currently under scrutiny) were riding two motorcycles along Hninsi Street. They arrived at the location, stopped one of the motorcycles, and then left the scene with the remaining motorcycle along Sankaung Street. Approximately five minutes after their departure, a time mine detonated on the motorcycle they had left behind. As a result of the explosion, several individuals who happened to be nearby were affected. Mg Arr Kyin (23 years old) who lived in Naungmon Village of Lashio Township was killed from mine shrapnel injuries. Additionally, U Aung Thein (71 years old), Daw Marlu (aka) Am Balut (45 years old) and Daw Nan Mon (65 years old), who all live in No. (1) Ward, along with U Aung Thu (41 years old) who lives in (Zagwal) Ward and Mg San Tun (17 years old) who lives in Kyalgaung Village of Mantone Township, sustained injuries from mine shrapnel. All injured individuals were transported to the Lashio District Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
     It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the perpetrators of the acts of terrorism from the above incident in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with laws.
