In order to cause injuries to both peaceable individuals and administrative authorities who are working to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, streets, railways, departmental offices, and residential houses.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on August 24 at 06:00 PM, Mg Kyaw Zin Hein, 17 years old and Mg Kaung Htet Paing, 12 years old years old, both sons of U Tin Htun Thein and both live in Kuto Village in Twinma Village group of Myaing Township, Magway Region, were walking to Kyauktwin Village. When they arrived the area between Kuto Village and Kyauktwin Village, they hit a homemade mine planted by so-called PDF terrorists which exploded, causing injuries to Mg Kyaw Zin Hein and Mg Kaung Htet Paing from mine shrapnel. They were receiving medical treatment at a clinic in the Village, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the perpetrators of the acts of terrorism from the above incident in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with laws.
