Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 10 October at 04:00 PM, U Mar Naw (33 years old), who lives in Pharphate Village of MuSe Township, Northern Shan State, was herding cows between Pharphate Village and Nanttaung Village, when he stepped on a land mine planted by insurgents, causing it to explode. As a result, U Mar Naw sustained mine shrapnel injuries to his right hand, pelvis and right leg. He was transported to the MuSe District Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Likewise, at 05:40 PM, U Kyaw Soe Oo (32 years old), who lives in Setyonelalpyin Ward of Kawlin Town, Sagaing Region, was walking within the Ward. When he arrived near Anout monaestry (locally known as) located on the east side of the Ward football field, a homemade mine planted by so-called PDF terrorists exploded on the roadside. As a result, U Kyaw Soe Oo sustained mine shrapnel injuries to his head, waist and left knee. He was transported to the Kawlin District Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the perpetrators of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with laws.
