Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 16 October at 05:30 PM, according to the report that an explosion occurred at the Mandalay-Bhamo Road mile post between 24/4 and 24/5 located between Pauktapin Village and Shwekhunpin Village in Tabeikkyin Township, Mandalay Region, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. According to the investigation, it is found that a 22-wheeled vehicle, driven by U Naung Naung (43 years old), who lives in Mandalay City, accompanied by vehicle helper Ko Htet Wai Aung (20 years old), who lived in Tangar Village of Madaya Township, was travelling from Mandalay City to Myintkyinar Town, loaded with goods. When they arrived at the incident, two mines (under scrutiny) planted by so-called PDF terrorists exploded on the east side of the Road. As a result of the explosion, vehicle helper Ko Htet Wai Aung was dead from mine shrapnel injuries to his head, ear and back at the incident while a front wheel and fuel tank of the vehicle were damaged, it is reported.
Similarly, on 17 October at 06:30 AM, U Aung Thu (36 years old), who lives in Payan Village of Shwebo Township, Sagaing Region, was leaving on his motorcycle to his field located north of Payan Village. When he arrived near the irrigation canal boundary road, a homemade mine planted by so-called PDF terrorists exploded. As a result, U Aung Thu sustained two injuries from mine shrapnel to his left leg and was transported to the Shwebo Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the perpetrators of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with the law.
