In order to cause injuries to both peaceable individuals and administrative authorities who are working to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, departmental offices, and residential houses.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 31 October at 05:15 AM, according to the report that an explosion occurred on the Shwebo-Sagaing Road located in Sagaing Township of Sagaing Region. Security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. According to the investigation, it is found that a YGN-19 9L/xxxx vehicle from the “New Sein Htay Hlaing” express, following the Yangon-Zeekone-Tasei journey plan, was travelling from Yangon City to Kambalu Town. The vehicle was driving along the Shwebo-Sagaing Road. Upon reaching near the “Bawga Man Daing” petrol station, a homemade mine planted by a so-called PDF terrorists detonated on the right side of the Road. As a result of the explosion, the front windshield, right-side window glasses and the head side of the vehicle were damaged. Additionally, a passenger Daw Mya Kyi (65 years old) who lives in Yathar Village Kambalu Township sustained injuries from mine shrapnel to her forehead. She was transported to the Shwebo Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the perpetrators of the acts of terrorism from the above incident in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with the law.
