In order to cause injuries to both peaceable individuals and administrative authorities who are working to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, departmental offices and residential houses.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 6 November at 05:25 AM, U Khin Maung Myint (50 years old), who lives in Nyaungphupin Village of Monywa Township, Sagaing Region, was leaving on foot to his field located outside of the Village, when a homemade mine planted by a so-called PDF terrorists exploded on the right side of a jungle road located at the exit of Nyaungphupin Village. As a result of the explosion, U Khin Maung Myint sustained mine shrapnel injuries on his abdomen and left thigh and was transported to the Monywa Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the perpetrators of the acts of terrorism from the above incident in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with the law.
