In order to cause injuries to both peaceable individuals and administrative authorities who are working to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, departmental offices, and residential houses.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 9 November at 07:05 PM, a report indicated that a male individual with injuries from mine shrapnel had arrived at the Mandalay Public Hospital. Security personnel went to the hospital and conducted and inspection. Upon inspection, U San Lwin (42 years old), who lives in Nyaungnyotaw Village of Myaing Township in Magway Region, was found with mine shrapnel injuries to his forehead, abdomen, right hand and right leg. The incident was verified that on November 7 at 08:00 AM, he was travelling alone on his motorcycle to Myaing Town for shopping along the Nyaungnyotaw-Myaing dirt road. When he reached near Daung-O Village, a homemade mine planted by so-called PDF terrorists exploded on the left side of the road, causing him to sustain the aforementioned injuries, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the perpetrators of the acts of terrorism from the above incident in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with the law.
