In order to cause injuries to both peaceable individuals and administrative authorities who are working to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, departmental offices and residential houses.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 10 November at 08:30 AM, according to the report that an explosion occurred at the Kyaukse District Court in Suukone Ward of Kyaukse Township, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. According to the investigation, it is found that two male terrorists (under scrutiny) rode a motorcycle along an alley in front of the court and threw a homemade bomb at the court before fleeing. The homemade bomb fell and exploded near the area where evidence motor vehicles were parked within the court premises. As a result of the explosion, there were no injuries to people, but the left door of an evidence motor vehicle was damaged, it is reported.
Similarly, at 09:40 AM, according to the report that a male with mine shrapnel injuries arrived at the Mandalay Public Hospital in Haymarzala Ward of Chanayetharzan Township, security personnel went to the Hospital and conducted an inspection. According to the investigation, it is found that Ko Than Htike Aung (24 years old), who lives in Landonwun Ward of Monywa Township, Sagaing Region, was travelling in a SGG 5E/xxxx CANDA vehicle, loaded with goods, from Monywa Town to Mandalay City on 9 November at 10:00 PM. When he reached near Ohntaw Village of Sagaing Township, a homemade mine planted by a terrorist group (under scrutiny) exploded on the roadside. As a result of the explosion, Ko Than Htike Aung sustained mine shrapnel injuries, it is reported.
Likewise, at 03:00 PM, according to the report that an explosion occurred in Seintone Village of Amarapuya Township, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. According to the investigation, it is found that two male terrorists (under scrutiny) rode a motorcycle along the Village Road and threw a China-made grenade at the house of U Myat Ko Ko (54 years old), who lives in this Village. The grenade landed and exploded behind the house. As a result of the explosion, the sunshade's 10 sheets of zinc roof located at the backyard and three sheets of zinc surrounding the fence were damaged, it is reported.
Furthermore, at 08:15 PM, according to the report that an explosion occurred in front of the Township Law Office located in Thamardi Street of (Salein) Ward of North Oakalapa Township, Yangon Region, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. According to the investigation, it is found that a homemade mine had exploded on the roadside just outside of the fence of the office. As a result of the explosion, there were no injuries or damage to people or buildings. Additionally, another homemade mine made with PVC pipe was found near the incident and promptly cleared, it is reported.
On the same day at 08:45 PM, according to the report that an explosion occurred near Kawaryan Village of Moekaung Township, Kachin State, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. According to the investigation, it is found that Mg Naw San (30 years old), Ma Phaw Yam Phaw Yan Kaw (30 years old) and Ma Khun Dint (32 years old), who all live in this Village, were leaving to search for golden brown grubs. When they arrived at a location approximately three miles southwest of Kawaryan Village, they hit a trip-wire connected mine planted by a KIA armed insurgent group exploded. As a result of the explosion, they sustained mine shrapnel injuries, they were transported to the Moekaung Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Similarly, at 09:40 PM, according to the report that an explosion occurred in front of house No. (121) located on the Shwebhonepwint pagoda road in Kyaukyaetwin Ward of North Oakkalapa Township, Yangon Region, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. According to the investigation, it is found that two male terrorists (under scrutiny) rode a motorcycle and threw two homemade bombs at the house before fleeing. The homemade bombs fell and exploded in front of the house. As a result of the explosion, the rear bumper of a BGO-11 2N/xxxx Suzuki Hijet vehicle, which was parked in front of the building at that time, and some window panes in front of the house sustained damage, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the perpetrators of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with the law.
