In order to cause injuries to both peaceable individuals and administrative authorities who are working to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, departmental offices and residential houses.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 20 November at 12:10 PM, a report stated that a male with injuries from mine shrapnel had arrived at Mandalay Public Hospital. Security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital and conducted an inspection. During the inspection, it was found that U Phyo Min Wai (39 years old), who lives in No. (10) Ward of Shwebo Town, Sagaing Region, had sustained mine shrapnel to his head and left leg. The incident was verified that on 19 November at 05:00 PM, U Phyo Min Wai was leaving home alone on his motorcycle to Nyaungpinthar Village for selling goods, when he arrived near Kyattet Village a homemade mine planted by so-called PDF terrorists exploded at the roadside. As a result, he sustained aforementioned injuries, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the perpetrators of the acts of terrorism from the above incident in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with the law.
