In order to cause injuries to both peaceable individuals and administrative authorities who are working to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, departmental offices and residential houses.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 1 December at 07:15 PM, a report stated that a male with mine shrapnel injuries had been arrived at Mandalay Public Hospital. Security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital and conducted an inspection. During the inspection, it was found that U Tun Oo (58 years old), who lives in Talone Village of Shwebo Township, Sagaing Region, had sustained injuries from mine shrapnel on his left thigh and right calf. The incident was verified that, on the earlier that day at 08:00 AM, U Tun Oo was walking to his field located west of Talone Village when a homemade mine, planted by so-called PDF terrorists, exploded. This incident resulted in the aforementioned injuries to U Tun Oo, it is reported.
Similarly, at 07:30 PM, a report stated that an explosion occurred at the Yankin Children Hospital located on Kanbae road in No. (7) Ward of Yankin Township, Yangon Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the inspection, it was found that two homemade bombs had detonated on the roadside at the left corner outside the hospital along Kanbae road. As a result of the explosion, there were no injuries or damages to people or buildings. The incident was verified that, terrorists in a vehicle (under scrutiny), threw a package containing homemade bombs towards Yankin Children Hospital, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the perpetrators of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with the law.
