In order to cause injuries to both peaceable individuals and administrative authorities who are working to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, departmental offices and residential houses.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 4 December at 09:05 AM, a report stated that an explosion occurred near a road used charge gate in Tharsi Village of Pwintphyu Township, Magway Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the inspection, it was found that Ko Aung (43 years old), who lives in Zeetaw Villge of Pwintphyu Township, was returning home on his motorcycle from Pwintphyu Town, when he arrived near the road used charge gate, a homemade mine planted by a so-called PDF terrorists exploded on the left roadside. As a result of the explosion, Ko Aung sustained injuries from mine shrapnel and was transported to the Pwintphyu Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Likewise, on 5 December at 07:30 AM, a report stated that an explosion occurred in No. (25) Ward of Thingangyun Township, Yangon Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the inspection, it was found that a homemade stun bomb had exploded on the Padaukmying roadside in this Ward. As a result of the explosion, there were no injuries or damages to people or buildings, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the perpetrators of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with the law.
