Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 11 December at 08:30 AM, a report stated that an explosion had occurred near Ywartharkone Village of Seikphyu Township, Magway Region. Likewise, on 12 December at 09:00 AM, a report stated that an explosion had occurred near Binhone Village of Aunglan Township, Magway Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the inspection, it was found that U Shwe Thein (52 years old), who lives in this Village, was heading into a jungle located east of the village to search for his cows. While passing between Ngalout Village and Binhone Village, he stepped on a mine planted by a so-called PDF terrorists, which exploded. As a result, U Shwe Thein sustained injuries from mine shrapnel and was transported to Aunglan Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Likewise, at 08:30 PM, a report stated that an explosion had occurred in Kalwin Village of Myeik Township, Tanintharyi Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the inspection, it was found that a homemade remote mine had exploded at the basement of the brick fence in front of the two-story building house belonging U Thein Lwin (57 years old), chairman of the Myeik District Union Solidarity and Development Party, who lives in this Village. The explosion resulted in damage to the basement of the brick fence, the iron grill door, a window pane of the house as well as the rear windshield and the rear of a black 5L/XXXX Mitsubishi Triton motor vehicle parked under the portico at that time. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries to any individuals, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the perpetrators of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with the law.
