In order to cause injuries to both peaceable individuals and administrative authorities who are working to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, streets, railways, departmental offices, and residential houses.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 30 August at 02:30 PM, U Tin Ohn, 54 years old, who lives in Nyaungnichaung Village of Seikphyu Township, Magway Region, was cutting grass to feed cows in a field located approximately two miles west of the village, when he hit a homemade tripwire-connected mine planted by so-called PDF terrorists which exploded. As a result of the explosion, U Tin Ohn sustained injuries on his back, waist, hand and buttocks from mine shrapnel and was transported to the Seikphyu Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Similarly, at 03:00 PM, Daw Htay Sint, 55 years old, who lived in Nyaungpinsu Village of Myaing Township, was leaving the west of the Village to herd cows. When she arrived at the edge of the west side the Village, she hit a homemade tripwire-connected mine planted by so-called PDF terrorists which exploded. As a result of the explosion, Daw Htay Sint was dead from mine shrapnel to her head and abdomen, it is reported.
Similarly, at 06:30 PM, Daw Moe Thida, 30 years old, who lives in Tonetadar Village of Myawaddy Township, Kayin State, was working with her husband U Zaw Min Tun in their banana farm when Daw Moe Thida stepped on a homemade mine planted by terrorists (under scrutiny) exploded in the banana farm. As a result of the explosion, Daw Moe Thida’s right ankle was amputated and sustained injuries on her legs and hands from mine shrapnel and was transported to the Myawaddy District Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the perpetrators of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with laws.
Daw Moe Thida who lives in Tonetadar Village of Myawaddy Township, Kayin State was injured by stepping on a
homemade mine planted by terrorists which exploded while she was working in her banana farm.
