In order to cause casualties of peaceable people and administrative authorities who are working for restoring rule of law, extreme terrorists receiving financial assistance are carrying out destructive activities against public roads, streets and departmental offices with homemade bombs and mines.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 28 June at 01:15 PM, according to the report that an explosion occurred on U Sanda Street of No. (1) Ward in Hpa-an Township, Kayin State, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an investigation. According to the investigation, it is found an anti-vehicle mine had exploded in a parked motor vehicle at the scene, causing Mg Tint Phone Zaw, 18 years old (Father) U Aung Zaw, who lives in this Ward, to sustain injuries from the mine shrapnel. He was transported to the Hpa-an Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Similarly, at 01:35 PM, Daw Tin Tin Wai, 24 years old (Father) U Myo Myint, who lived in Botekone Village of Shwebo Township in Sagaing Region, was herding cows in a cattle grazing field located approximately four furlongs north of the Village, when she stepped on a homemade mine planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group which exploded. As a result of the explosion, Daw Tin Tin Wai was dead from the mine shrapnel injuries, it is reported.
Likewise, at 01:40 PM, according to the information indicated that an explosion had occurred near the District Construction Department office in Dagaung Ward of Sagaing Township, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. The investigation found that two so-called PDF terrorists (under scrutiny), riding on a motorcycle, arrived at the location and threw a homemade bomb at the office before fleeing. The bomb struck the office’s fence and exploded. Fortunately, there is no injuries or damage to people or the building, it is reported.
Furthermore, at 07:45 PM, according to the report that an explosion occurred at the “Fully Light” hotel located in No. (2) Ward of Lashio Township, Northern Shan State, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. Upon investigation, it is found that two male terrorists (under scrutiny), riding on a motorcycle, arrived near the hotel and then, they threw a homemade bomb before fleeing. The bomb landed and exploded inside the generator room beside the hotel. As a result of the explosion, the wires connecting to the generator and glasses of the hotel were damaged, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security forces are investigating the perpetrators of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with laws.
