In order to cause casualties of peaceable people and administrative authorities who are working for restoring rule of law, extreme terrorists receiving financial assistance are carrying out destructive activities against public roads, streets and departmental offices with homemade bombs and mines.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 3 July at 05:30 PM, an explosion occurred near Zeephyukone Village of Shwebo Township in Sagaing Region, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. Upon investigation, it is found that U Tun Naing (aka) Tun Naing Oo, 40 years old (Father) U Kyaw Ngwe, who lives in this Village, along with Mg Myo Thein, 11 years old (Father) U Po, who also lives in the same Village, were leaving to a field approximately one furlong south of the Village to pick vegetables. When they reached near the fields, a mine planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group exploded. As a result of the explosion, U Tun Naing (aka) Tun Naing Oo and Mg Myo Thein sustained injured from the mine shrapnel, and were transported to the Shwebo Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Similarly, at 08:40 PM, an explosion occurred in Zaykone Ward of Mogaung Township, Kachin State, security personnel dispatched to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that a homemade mine had exploded in the house yard of Daw Zin Mar Oo, 38 years old (Father) U San Oo, who lives in this Ward, and an approximately 50-year-old male (under scrutiny) was found dead with injuries from the mine shrapnel beside the Road approximately 15 feet away from the house entrance. Additionally, the house guard U Htay Hlaing, 48 years old (under scrutiny), sustained injuries from the mine shrapnel, and was transported to the Mogaung Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security forces are investigating the perpetrators of the acts of terrorism from the above incident in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with laws.
