Terrorists carried out terrorist acts with hand grenade, homemade bomb and mines by taking security personnel by surprise

     In order to cause casualties of peaceable people and administrative authorities who are working for restoring rule of law, extreme terrorists receiving financial assistance are carrying out destructive activities against public roads, streets and departmental offices with homemade bombs and mines.
     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 18 July at 09:40 AM, according to the report that an explosion occurred near the entrance signboard of Thaegone Town located on the roadside of the Thaegone-Sinmeeswal Road in Ywarhtaungkone Village of Thaegone Township, Bago Region, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an investigation. According to the investigation, it is found that a homemade mine had exploded near the entrance signboard. As a result of the explosion, U Thein Soe, 51 years old, (Father) U Aung Nyein, who lives in Tharpaung Village and was passing by at the time of the incident, sustained injuries from mine shrapnel. He was transported to a military hospital for medical treatment. Additionally, near the location of the explosion, a white vinyl with threatening and against messages written in red paint was found hanging on the entrance signboard. The security personnel removed the vinyl from the signboard, it is reported.
     Similarly, at 05:20 PM, according to the report an explosion occurred near Hlaelanku Village in Htantapin Township, Bago Region, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an investigation. According to the investigation, it is found Daw Phyu Nu, 41 years old (Father) U Aung Thant, Mg Thurain Soe, 18 years old (Father) U Paing Soe, and Ko Moe, 45 years old (Father) U Phyu Lone, who all live in this village, were leaving on two motorcycles to carry firewood near the Village. When they arrived at the exit of the Village, a mine planted by KNU and so-called PDF terrorists which exploded. As a result, Daw Phyu Nu and Mg Thurain Soe were dead from mine shrapnel injuries, while Ko Moe sustained injuries from mine shrapnel. He was transported to the Taungoo Township Public hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
     It has been reported that the security forces are investigating the perpetrators of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with laws.
