Terrorists carried out terrorist acts with hand grenade, homemade bomb and mines by taking security personnel by surprise

     In order to cause casualties of peaceable people and administrative authorities who are working for restoring rule of law, extreme terrorists receiving financial assistance are carrying out destructive activities against public roads, streets, railways and departmental offices with homemade bombs and mines.
     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 23 July at 10:50 AM, three male terrorists (under scrutiny) arrived on three motorcycles at the “Melody” KTV located between milepost 113/7 and 114 of the Yangon-Pyay Highway Road in Shantawlay Village of Oakpho Township, Bago Region, and threw a grenade before fleeing. The grenade fell and exploded near the brick fence of the building. As a result of the explosion, an employee Mg Min Zaw Khant, 17 years old (Father) U Win Zaw Oo, sustained injuries from shrapnel in his chest, right femur and left leg, and was receiving medical treatment, it is reported.
     Similarly, at 11:30 AM, U Khin Maung Lin, 43 years old (Father) U Tun Shein, who lives in Nhatpyawtwin Village of Myaing Township, Magway Region, was leaving to his upland field located east of the village, when he stepped on a homemade mine planted by so-called PDF terrorists which exploded. As a result of the explosion, U Khin Maung Lin sustained injuries on his left/right leg and left hand from mine shrapnel, and was transported to the Myaing Township Public hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
     It has been reported that the security forces are investigating the perpetrators of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with laws.
