In order to cause casualties of peaceable people and administrative authorities who are working for restoring rule of law, extreme terrorists receiving financial assistance are carrying out destructive activities against public roads, streets, railways and departmental offices with homemade bombs and mines.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 25 July at 04:30 PM, Mg Aye Chan Maung, 11 years old, Mg Zin Min Wai, five years old, Mg Wathan Moe (aka) Naing Htet Hein, five years old, Mg Htein Lin, nine years old and Mg Phoe La Pyae (aka) Wana Ko Ko, six years old, who all live in Inpinthar Village of Phyu Township, Bago Region, were playing in a public rest house located on the roadside of the entrance to Inpinthar Village, when a mine (under scrutiny) planted by members of KNU who support terrorism and a so-called PDF terrorist group exploded inside the public rest house. As a result, Mg Aye Chan Maung and Mg Zin Min Wai were dead from mine shrapnel. Additionally, Mg Wathan Moe (aka) Naing Htet Hein, Mg Htein Lin, Mg Phoe La Pyae (aka) Wana Ko Ko and U Min Naing, 50 years old, who was nearby cutting grasses for feeding cows, sustained injuries from mine shrapnel. They were transported to the Phyu Township Public hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Similarly, on 26 July at 07:30 AM, U Myint Tin, 58 years old, who lives in Magyitone Village of Khin-U Township, Sagaing Region, along with his daughter Daw Zar Zar, 35 years old, were plowing in their field, when a homemade mine planted by so-called PDF terrorists exploded in the field. As a result, Daw Zar Zar sustained injuries from mine shrapnel in her neck, back, left/right hands and leg, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security forces are investigating the perpetrators of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with the law.
