In order to cause casualties of peaceable people and administrative authorities who are working for restoring rule of law, extreme terrorists receiving financial assistance are carrying out destructive activities against public roads, streets, railways and departmental offices with homemade bombs and mines.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 30 July at 11:00 AM, according to the report that a male was dead with injuries from the mine shrapnel was arrived at the Kyarnhut Circuit hospital in Thabeikkyin Township, Mandalay Region, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. According to the investigation, Ko Lwin Myat Moe, 27 years old (Father) U Myint Maung, who lived in Kyonepyaw Town in Ayarawaddy Region, was found dead with injuries from mine shrapnel on his right parietal bone of head and behind the right ear. The incident was verified that, a MDY-16 4I/XXXX NOAH vehicle from “Kachinminthar” Express, driven by Ko Lwin Myat Moe and carrying seven passengers, were travelling from Mandalay city to Myintkyinar Town. Around 09:30 AM, when they arrived near Latpankone Village of Thabeikkyin Township, they encountered a roadblock set up by so-called PDF terrorists, involving a fuel tank vehicle and a 12-wheeled vehicle. In an attempt to evade the roadblock, Ko Lwin Myat Moe took an alternative route east of the road. Tragically, during this detour, the vehicle hit a homemade mine that had been planted by the terrorists, causing an explosion. As a result of the explosion, Ko Lwin Myat Moe was dead by above injuries, it is reported.
Similarly, at 05:30 PM, U Shaung Ywan from Tharyarmanawmyay Tissue Banana Farming Company, 38 years old (Father) U Ywae Shone, who lives in Shwenyaungpin Village of Winemaw Township, Kachin State, along with his wife Daw Eike Khwan, 30 years old, and his son Mg Ywan Paung, eight months, were leaving home to travel to a banana farming in a YGN 9J-XXXX PRADO vehicle. When they arrived between Aungmyae (2) Village and Shwenyaungpin Village, a homemade mine planted by KIA insurgents exploded on the roadside. The explosion caused severe injuries to Daw Eike Khwan, who broke her right arm and right leg. She also sustained injuries from the mine shrapnel on her right temple, right eyebrow, and left leg. Additionally, Mg Ywan Paung suffered injuries from mine shrapnel on his right head. They were transported to the Winemaw Town Public hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Likewise, at 06:10 PM, two male terrorists (under scrutiny), who were riding a motorcycle along the Anawyahtar Road from north to south, threw two homemade bombs at the (20) Ward Administrator Office located in Hlaingtharyar (western) Township, Yangon Region, before fleeing. One of the homemade bombs landed and exploded on the roadside in front of the office and the other homemade bomb remain unexploded. Therefore, security personnel systematically cleared the unexploded bomb. As a result of the explosion, there were no injuries or damage to people or buildings, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security forces are investigating the perpetrators of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with laws.
