Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 14 August at 04:45 PM, according to the report that a deceased male body with mine shrapnel injuries was arrived at the Shwebo Township Public Hospital in Shwebo Town, Sagaing Region, security personnel went to the hospital to inspect. Upon inspection, Ko Nyi Nyi Aung, 29 years old, who lived in No.(10) Ward of Shwebo Town, was found dead with mine shrapnel injuries on his right arm and armpit. The incident was verified that Ko Nyi Nyi Aung had been driving a blue SKAT vehicle MDY 7H/XXXX loaded with paving stones from Kyaukmyaung Town to Shwebo Town along the Shwebo-Kyaukmyaung Road. When he arrived near Taohn Village at about 01:00 PM, a homemade mine planted by so-called PDF terrorists exploded on the right side of the road. As a result, Ko Nyi Nyi Aung was dead from his injuries and the front wheel and door of his vehicle was also damaged, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the perpetrators of the acts of terrorism from the above incident in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with laws.
