In order to cause casualties of peaceable people and administrative authorities who are working for restoring rule of law, extreme terrorists receiving financial assistance are carrying out destructive activities against public roads, streets, railways and departmental offices with homemade bombs and mines.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 15 August at 08:20 PM, two male terrorists (under scrutiny) who were riding on a motorcycle, threw a homemade bomb at the Ward Administrator Office located in 110th (Manawhayi Street) Road between 45th and 46th Streets in Aungtharyar Ward of Chanmyatharzi Township, Mandalay Region. The homemade bomb land and exploded in front of flagpole plinth within the office compound. As a result, there were no injuries or damage to people or buildings, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the perpetrators of the acts of terrorism from the above incident in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with laws.
A homemade bomb was thrown in Chanmyatharzi Township.
