Terrorists carried out terrorist acts with hand grenade, homemade bomb and mines by taking security personnel by surprise

     In order to cause casualties of peaceable people and administrative authorities who are working for restoring rule of law, extreme terrorists receiving financial assistance are carrying out destructive activities against public roads, streets, railways and departmental offices with homemade bombs and mines.
     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 19 August at 11:50 AM, according to the report that a man was dead due to an explosion near Kyarnhyat Village in Tabeikkyin Township, Mandalay Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that U Nyo Oo, 78 years old, who lived in this Village, was working in his upland field located next to the entrance road of Kyarnhyat Village leading from the Mandalay–Bh Bhamo Road, when a homemade mine planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group exploded. As a result, U Nyo Oo was dead from mine shrapnel, it is reported.
     Similarly, at 03:50 PM, according to the report that a man was injured due to an explosion near Paykone (Tawunpu) Village of Kambalu Township, Sagaing Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that U Soe Nyein, 53 years old, who lives in this Village, was gathering bamboo shoots in a bamboo forest located approximately one and a half miles north of the Village, when he hit a homemade mine planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group which exploded. As a result, U Seo Nyein sustained injuries from mine shrapnel, and was transported to the Kambalu District Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
     It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the perpetrators of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with laws.
