In order to cause casualties of peaceable people and administrative authorities who are working for restoring rule of law, extreme terrorists receiving financial assistance are carrying out destructive activities against public roads, streets and departmental offices with homemade bombs and mines.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 19 April at 11:15 AM, according to the report that an explosion occurred at the corner of Hninsi Street and Konbaung Street in No. (15) Ward of Dagon Myothit (East) Township, Yangon Region, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. According to the investigation, it is found that garbage picker Ma Saw Yu Maw (aka) Soe Yu Maw, 24 years old, (Father) U Soe Myint, was pushing a garbage cart with her daughter Ma Ei Tha Zin (four years old) and her son Mg Nay Aung (one year old), who all live in No. (108) Ward of Dagon Myothit (East) Township. When they arrived at the scene, an explosion occurred inside the garbage cart. As the result, Ma Saw Yu Maw (aka) Soe Yu Maw, her daughter Ma Ei Tha Zin and her son Mg Nay Aung sustained mine injuries and were transported to a Military Hospital for medical treatment. Additionally, pieces of PVC pipe, pieces of Keypad phone, one red fuse rope about 10-feet long, two 3.7 V batteries and 20 iron ball were found and seized near the scene, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security forces are investigating the perpetrators of the acts of terrorism from the above incident in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with laws.
