In order to cause casualties of peaceable people and administrative authorities who are working for restoring rule of law, extreme terrorists receiving financial assistance are carrying out destructive activities against public roads, streets and departmental offices with homemade bombs and mines.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 24 April at 10:30 AM, according to the report that an explosion occurred near Innkaung Village of Kyunhla Township, Sagaing Region, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. According to the investigation, it is found that U Than Kyaw, 46 years old, (Father) U Tin Oo, and Ma May Zin Phu, 29 years old, who both live in this Village, were returning from Yaehtwetgyi forest (locally known as Yaehtwetgyitawtike) located about eight miles north of the village. When they arrived at the edge of Thike creek (locally known as Thikechaungyoe), they stepped on a mine planted by so-called PDF terrorist group which exploded. As a result of the explosion, U Than Kyaw and Ma May Zin Phu sustained mine injuries and were transported to the Kambalu Township Public hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Similarly, at 03:00 PM, according to the report that an explosion occurred in No. (10) Ward of Shwebo Township, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. According to the investigation, it is found that a so-called PDF terrorist group (total number - under scrutiny) threw a grenade at the power substation located in this Ward before fleeing. As a result of the explosion, a 33/11 KV 5 MPA transformer of the power substation was damaged, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security forces are investigating the perpetrators of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with laws.
