In order to cause casualties of peaceable people and administrative authorities who are working for restoring rule of law, extreme terrorists receiving financial assistance are carrying out destructive activities against public roads, streets and departmental offices with homemade bombs and mines.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 25 April at 05:40 PM, according to the report that an explosion occurred near the “Thandithitsa” Toll gate at mile post number 28 of the Mandalay-Mogok Road, close to Yaenathar Village of Madaya Township in Mandalay Region, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. According to the investigation, it is found that a homemade mine planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group exploded on a weighbridge at the back of the Toll gate. As a result of the explosion, glasses of the Toll gate’s office and brick platforms surrounding the weighbridge were damaged. Additionally, a clerk named Ma Tin Zar Wai, 19 years old, (Father) U Khin Maung Shwe, who lives in Nyaungbintha Village of Shwebo Township, Sagaing Region, sustained mine injuries and was transported to the Mandalay Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Similarly, at 12:10 PM, according to the report that an explosion occurred at the Customs office in Belin Township, Mon State, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. According to the investigation, it is found that six so-called PDF terrorists arrived on three motorcycles and threw a homemade bomb at the office. The bomb exploded in front of the office fence, causing damage to 80 ceilings of the office’s portico as well as two wooden doors and wooden windows, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security forces are investigating the perpetrators of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with laws.
