Terrorists Carried Out Terrorist Acts with Hand Grenade, Homemade Bomb and Mines by taking Security Personnel by Surprise

      In order to cause casualties of peaceable people and administrative authorities who are working for restoring rule of law, extreme terrorists receiving financial assistance are carrying out destructive activities against public roads, streets and departmental offices with homemade bombs and mines.
      Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 30 April at 08:50 AM, according to the report that an explosion occurred in Pyaeaei Village of Pakokku Township, Magway Region, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. According to the investigation, it is found that approximately 10 so-called PDF terrorists arrived at the Village Administrator’s Office (still building) in the village on five motorcycles. The terrorists threatened and robbed four mobile phones from the workers in the office. Before fleeing, they threw a homemade mine in the office, which exploded. As a result of the explosion, the zinc roofs, two main doors and six windows of the Village Administrator’s office were damaged, it is reported.
      Similarly, at 09:30 AM, according to the report that an explosion occurred near Paygon (South) Village of Kyunhla Township, Sagaing Region, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. According to the investigation, it is found that Ma Khin Moe Aye (aka) Me Me, 22 years old, (Father) U Pho Chun, and Daw Than Myint, 63 years old, (Father) U Cho, who both live in Tatkon Village of Kyunhla Township, were on their way to pick eugenia from a forest located about one-mile north of Paygon (South) village. When they were near the forest, they stepped on a homemade mine planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group which exploded. As a result of the explosion, Ma Khin Moe Aye (aka) Me Me and Daw Than Myint sustained mine injuries and were transported to the Kyunhla Township Public hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
      Likewise, on 1 May at 08:30 AM, according to the report that an explosion occurred at the “Kyauksanehpakant” Express vehicle gate located at the corner of 74th and Mingalar Streets in Ngwetawkyigon Ward of Pyigyidagun Township, Mandalay Region, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. According to the investigation, it is found that a male and a female terrorist (under scrutiny), who were riding a motorcycle along Mingalar Street, threw a homemade bomb at the vehicle gate before fleeing. The homemade bomb fell and exploded outside the vehicle gate. As a result of the explosion, wheels and front body part of MDY 6K/xxxx HONDINE parked near the scene were damaged. The driver Ko Kyaw Thu, 30 years old, (Father) U Bo Seint, vehicle helper Mg Pyae Lyan Win, 17 years old, (Father) U Hla Min, and in charge of the vehicle gate U Kyaw Min Tun, 40 years old, (Father) U Tin Nyunt, who all live in Ngwetawkyigon Ward, sustained bomb injuries and were transported to the Mandalay Public hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
      It has been reported that the security forces are investigating the perpetrators of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with laws.
