In order to cause casualties of peaceable people and administrative authorities who are working for restoring rule of law, extreme terrorists receiving financial assistance are carrying out destructive activities against public roads, streets and departmental offices with homemade bombs and mines.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 3 May at 08:00 AM, according to the report that an explosion occurred near Nantaung Village of Palaw Township, Tanintharyi Region, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. According to the investigation, it is found that Ko Thiha, 29 years old, (Father) U Win Ko, who lives in this village, was picking Durians in a yard located in the eastern part of the village, when he stepped on a homemade mine planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group which exploded. As the result, Ko Thiha sustained mine injuries and was transported to the Palaw Township Public hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Similarly, at 09:00 AM, according to the report that an explosion occurred in Lonepyin Village of Pinlaung Township, Southern Shan State, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. According to the investigation, it is found that a SHN 1Q/xxxx vehicle driven by U Yan Aung (under scrutiny), was carrying U Khun Sein Tar, 42 years old, (Father) U Sein Na, who lives in this village. They were en route to U Aung Shin’s house to pick up corn bags. When they arrived at his house, the rear wheel of the vehicle stepped on a mine planted by a so-called KNDF terrorist group which exploded. As a result of the explosion, U Khun Sein Tar sustained mine injuries and was transported to the Pinlaung Township Public hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security forces are investigating the perpetrators of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with laws.
