Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 2 May at 10:20 AM, according to the report that an explosion occurred near Thaunghtutkine Village of Shwebo Township, Sagaing Region, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. According to the investigation, it is found that U Kyaw Moe Myint, 50 years old, (Father) U Moe Aung, who lives in this Village, was leaving on a motorcycle to tend to his farm. When he arrived at the scene, a homemade mine planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group exploded beside the road. As the result, U Kyaw Moe Myint sustained mine injuries. Additionally, Ma Khin Myo Oo, 39 years old, (Father) U Maung Kyine, who lives in Tharnar Village of Wetlet Township, was traveling on a motorcycle along the Mandalay-Shwebo Highway to Shwebo Town for shopping. When she arrived near Taganan Village, a mine exploded on the right side of the road, causing Ma Khin Myo Oo to sustain injuries. All injured individuals were transported to the Shwebo Township Public hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Similarly, at 04:30 PM, according to the report that an explosion occurred near Shwebonethar Pagoda located south of Shwechaungyo creek in Montgon Village of Pakokku Township, Magway Region, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. According to the investigation, it is found that U Sein Maung Htay, 47 years old, (Father) U Nyan Sein, and Daw Yi Myint, 36 years old, (Father) U Bo Aoe, who both live in this Village, were herding cows in a field near the scene when a homemade mine planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group exploded. As a result of the explosion, they sustained mine injuries and were transported to the Myitchay Circuit hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Likewise, at 06:00 PM, four mines exploded near the house of U Hla Min Oo who lives in Kadonshaung Village of Dawei Township, Tanintharyi Region. As a result of the explosion, three villagers who were playing near the scene; Ma Nyein Thazin, 10 years old, (Father) U Naing Naing, Ma Phyu Phyu Thin, six years old, (Father) U Pho Mae and Mg Aung Myo Min, eight years old, (Father) U Hla Min Oo, sustained mine injuries and were transported to a military hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security forces are investigating the perpetrators of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with laws.
