Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 10 May at 11:30 AM, according to the report that an explosion occurred in front of the Township Office of Cooperative Department located at the corner of 86th and 22nd Streets in Aungmyetharzan Ward of Aungmyetharzan Township, Mandalay Region, Magway Region, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. According to the investigation, it is found that two male terrorists (under scrutiny), who were riding a motorcycle in front of the office, threw a China-made pull string grenade at the office before fleeing. The grenade fell and exploded in front of the office, causing damage to the front windshield and rear wheel of a MDY-1 3K/XXXX SUZUKI vehicle belonging to staff officer U Nay Min Tun, 42 years old, (Father) U San Shin, from Township Office of Cooperative Department, it is reported.
Similarly, at 05:00 PM, according to the report that an explosion occurred at the foothill of Setlet Mountain located near Chaetawyar Village of Shwegyin Township, Bago Region, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. According to the investigation, it is found that U Kyaw Aung, 54 years old, (Father) U Thaung Khin, and his son Mg Kyaw Swar Lin, 18 years old, who both live in this village, were picking Djenkol Bean near the scene, when they stepped on a mine planted by the KNU insurgent group supporting terrorism and a so-called PDF terrorist group which exploded. As a result of the explosion, Mg Kyaw Swar Lin sustained mine injuries and was transported to the Shwegyin Township Public hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Likewise, at 07:40 PM, according to the report that an explosion occurred on the concrete road under the entrance gate in front of the Township Law Office in Natgyigon Ward of Mogaung Township, Kachin State, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. According to the investigation, it is found that a homemade mine was exploded at the location. As the result, a main door window, a window glass, four windshields and wooden frames of an iron grille door of the office were damaged, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security forces are investigating the perpetrators of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with laws.
