In order to cause casualties of peaceable people and administrative authorities who are working for restoring rule of law, extreme terrorists receiving financial assistance are carrying out destructive activities against public roads, streets and departmental offices with homemade bombs and mines.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 12 May at 08:15 AM, according to the report that an explosion occurred in No. (3) Ward of Myaing Township, Magway Region, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. According to the investigation, it is found that a homemade mine planted by a so-called PDF terrorist exploded in a non-residential house in this Ward. As a result of the explosion, 86 zinc roofs and household furniture of the house were damaged, it is reported.
Similarly, at 09:00 AM, according to the report that an explosion occurred near Aungchanthar lane in Kanaungsu Ward of Hinthada Township, Ayeyarwady Region, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. According to the investigation, it is found that a homemade mine exploded in the location, causing no people or building were injured or damaged, it is reported.
Likewise, at 05:00 PM, according to the report that an explosion occurred near Innphyar forest (locally knows as) located about one mile west of Salgyi Village in Kambalu Township, Sagaing Region, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. According to the investigation, it is found that U Thaung Tun, 48 years old, (Father) U Khway Nyo, along with his wife Daw Nwe Nwe Aye, 48 years old, (Father) U Tin Aung, who live in this village, were leaving their home to work in an upland field. When they arrived at the scene, they stepped on a mine planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group which exploded. As the result, U Thaung Tun and Daw Nwe Nwe Aye sustained mine injuries and were transported to the Kambalu Township Public hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security forces are investigating the perpetrators of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with laws.
