In order to cause casualties of peaceable people and administrative authorities who are working for restoring rule of law, extreme terrorists receiving financial assistance are carrying out destructive activities against public roads, streets and departmental offices with homemade bombs and mines.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 11 May at 09:00 AM, according to the report that an explosion occurred at the entrance of Myohla Village in Shwebo Township, Sagaing Region, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. According to the investigation, it is found that Daw Kyi Htay, 65 years old (Father) U Than Maung, Daw Myint Yi, 45 years old (Father) U Kyaw Sant, who both live in Nyaungkine Village of Shwebo Township, Ma Aye Su Naing, 33 years old and (Father) U Than Aung, and Daw Ohm Kyawl, 63 years old (Father) U Than Aung, who both live in Kutotseik Village, were traveling in a Tuolaji vehicle to Shwebo Town for shopping. When they arrived at the scene, a homemade mine planted by a so-called PDF terrorist exploded. As a result of the explosion, they sustained mine injuries and were transported to the Shwebo District Public hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Similarly, at 09:00 AM, according to the report that an explosion occurred near Danpin Village in Kambalu Township, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. According to the investigation, it is found that U Win Myint Thein, 27 years old, (Father) U Tauk Tun and U Thein Zaw, 31 years old, (Father) U Maung Ngwe, who both live in this village, were leaving to a field near the village, when they hit a mine planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group which exploded. As a result of the explosion, they sustained mine injuries. On the same day at 0430 PM, U Aung Myint Oo, 40 years old, (Father) U Pu, Kyaw Min Htwe, 17 years old, (Father) U Zaw Min, and Ko Myo Myo Aung (aka) Pyukyal, 23 years old, (Father) U Maung Gyi, who all live in Salgyi Village of Kambalu Township, were returning to the village from Chatpyalkon (locally known as) located about one mile west of the village after herding cows, they hit a homemade min planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group which exploded. As the result, they sustained mine injuries. All injured individuals were transported to the Kambalu Township Public hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Likewise, at 05:15 PM, according to the report that an explosion occurred near Kyauktan Village in Naungcho Township, Northern Shan State, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. According to the investigation, it is found that Ko Moe Thi Lar, 26 years old, (Father) U Tu Nar Yan, who lives in this village, was leaving for an upland field located approximately five furlongs west of the village. When he arrived near the upland field, he hit a mine planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group which exploded. As the result, Ko Moe Thi Lar sustained mine injuries and was transported to the Naungcho Township Public hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security forces are investigating the perpetrators of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with laws.
