Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 27 May at 06:10 PM, according to the report that an explosion occurred in front of the Township Revenue Department Office located in 78th Street between 75 (D) and Myawadymingyi (1) Streets in Chanmyatharyar Ward of Pyigyidagun Township, Mandalay Region, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. According to the investigation, it is found that two male terrorists (under scrutiny), who were riding on a motorcycle, threw a homemade mine at the office before fleeing. The homemade bomb fell and exploded on 75 (D) Street approximately one foot in front of the office. As a result of the explosion, a front windshield, a right rear window glass and right-side body of a MDY 9F/xxxx ALPHARD vehicle parked in front of the office were damaged, it is reported.
Similarly, at 11:15 PM, according to the report that an explosion occurred in front of the “Drink & Eat” restaurant located in 11th Street between 87th and 88th Streets in Nyaungkywal Ward of Aungmyaytharzan Township, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. According to the investigation, it is found that two male terrorists (under scrutiny), who were riding on a motorcycle, threw with a pull-string grenade at the restaurant before fleeing. The grenade fell and exploded in front of the restaurant. As a result of the explosion, employee of the restaurant Ko Zaw Thet, 23 years old, (Father) U Than Zaw Oo, who lives in (Zamyinzawl) Ward of Pyigyidagun Township, sustained bomb injuries and was transported to the Mandalay Public hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security forces are investigating the perpetrators of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with laws.
