Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 29 May at 10:25 AM, according to the report that an explosion occurred near a creek located in Garhtar Village of Kambalu Township, Sagaing Region, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. According to the investigation, it is found that U Kyauk Sane, 45 years old, (Father) U Tun Wai, who lives in No. (3) Ward of Kambalu Township, was leaving on his motorcycle from Kambalu Town to Garhtar Village for selling goods. When he arrived at the scene, a homemade mine planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group exploded at right side of the road. As a result of the explosion, U Kyauk Sein sustained mine injures and was transported to the Kambalu District Public hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Similarly, at 03:00 PM, according to the report that an explosion occurred near an orchard located beside the road connecting Magyigon Village and Kyaungneint Village in Palaw Township, Tanintharyi Region, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. According to the investigation, it is found that U Kyaw Lwin Oo (aka) Phoe Yone, 50 years old, (Father) U Myint Nwe, who lived in Magyigon Village, was working in the orchard at the scene, when a homemade mine planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group exploded. As a result of the explosion, U Kyaw Lwin Oo (aka) Phoe Yone was dead from mine injuries, it is reported.
Likewise, at 03:15 PM, according to the report that an explosion occurred between Maukkyo Village and Tharnar Village in Wetlet Township, Sagaing Region, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. According to the investigation, it is found that U Kyaw Moe Win, 42 years old, (Father) U Htay Maung, and Daw Tin Tin Win, 40 years old, (Father) U Htay Lay, who both live in Hladaw Village of Wetlet Township, were travelling on a motorcycle from Hladaw Village to Wetlet Town. Upon reaching the scene, a homemade mine planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group exploded beside the road. As a result of the explosion, they both sustained mine injuries and were transported to the Mandalay Public hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Furthermore, at 08:25 PM, according to the report that an explosion occurred near Lalhla Village of Khunhla Township, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. According to the investigation, it is found that U San Shwe (aka) U Myine, 64 years old, (Father) U Boe Kho, who lives in this village, was herding cows near the scene, when a homemade mine planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group exploded. As a result of the explosion, U San Shwe (aka) U Myine sustained mine injuries and was transported to the Kambalu District Public hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
On the same day at 09:00 PM, according to the report that an explosion occurred at the junction Kanni Village entrance in Kyaikto Township, Mon State, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. According to the investigation, it is found that Ko Chan Myae Aung, 28 years old, (Father) U Hla Aung, who lives in Ywarlay Ward of Theinzayet Township, was leaving on his motorcycle to Kanni Village to collect vegetables. When he arrived at the scene, a homemade landmine laid by an armed insurgent group supporting terrorism and a so-called PDF terrorist group exploded. As a result of the explosion, Ko Chan Myae Aung sustained mine injuries and was transported to the Theinzayet Circuit hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security forces are investigating the perpetrators of the acts of terrorism from the above incident in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with laws.
