In order to cause casualties of peaceable people and administrative authorities who are working for restoring rule of law, extreme terrorists receiving financial assistance are carrying out destructive activities against public roads, streets and departmental offices with homemade bombs and mines.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 31 May at 08:00 AM, according to the report that an explosion occurred near the monastery in Innshay Village of Kyaukgyi Township, Bago Region, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. According to the investigation, it is found that U Tin Oo, 56 years old, (Father) U Pyone, who lives in Tonetaw Village, was en route from his house to Innshay Village. When he arrived at the scene, he stepped on a mine planted by some members from the KNU group who support terrorism and so-called PDF terrorists which exploded. As a result of the explosion, U Tin Oo sustained mine injuries and was transported to the Mone Circuit hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Similarly, at 10:00 AM, according to the report that an explosion occurred near Zin Village of Kambalu Township, Sagaing Region, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. According to the investigation, it is found that U Ngwe (aka) U Maung Ngwe, 58 years old, (Father) U Tin Aung, along with his nephews, Mg Tun Si Aung, 13 years old, (Father) U Aung Ko Win, and Mg Tayzar Phone Shwe, nine years old, (Father) U Aung Ko Win, who all live in this Village, were leaving to a field located approximately one mile north of the village. When they arrived near the field, Mg Tayzar Phone Shwe hit a homemade mine planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group which exploded. As a result of the explosion, Mg Tayzar Phone Shwe was dead from mine injuries, while U Ngwe (aka) U Maung Ngwe and Mg Tun Si Aung sustained mine injuries. They were transported to the Shwebo District Public hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Likewise, at 05:30 PM, according to the report that an explosion occurred in Konetanlay Village of Madaya Township, Mandalay Region, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. According to the investigation, it is found that Mg Aung Pyae Sone, 16 years old, (Father) U Maung Myint, who lived in Thoneselpay Village, was leaving his house on a motorcycle to Konetanlay Village to purchase pesticide. When he reached at the entrance of Konetanlay Village, a homemade mine planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group exploded. As a result of the explosion, Mg Aung Pyae Sone was dead from mine injuries at the scene, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security forces are investigating the perpetrators of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with laws.
