In order to cause casualties of peaceable people and administrative authorities who are working for restoring rule of law, extreme terrorists receiving financial assistance are carrying out destructive activities against public roads, streets and departmental offices with homemade bombs and mines.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 3 June at 03:30 PM, according to the report that an explosion occurred near Thaunggyi Village in Indaw Township, Sagaing Region, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. According to the investigation, it is found that Ko Kyaw Ye Aung, 29 years old, (Father) U Tin Win, Ko Hla Myo Win, 25 years old, (Father) U Zaw Phyo, and Ko Chan Thar Tun, 26 years old, (Father) U Cho Oo, who all live in this Village, were engaged in hunting using a hunting dog in the Kyaukmaetaung forest (locally known as), located approximately five miles west of the Village, when their hunting dog stepped on a mine planted by the KIA’s members who support terrorism which exploded. As a result, Ko Kyaw Ye Aung, Ko Hla Myo Win and Ko Chan Thar Tun sustained injuries from the blast and transported to the Katha Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Similarly, at 04:20 PM, according to the report that an explosion occurred near a golf course in Northern Ward of Kyaikto Township, Mon State, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. According to the investigation, it is found that two mines planted by an insurgent group and so-called PDF terrorists exploded on the green of the 1st hole field, and between 100-yard pole and 150-yard poles of the 2nd field. As a result of the explosion, Ma Wai Wai Lwin, 32 years old, (Father) U Aung Naing, and Ma Nge Nge, 20 years old, (Father) U Aung Than Oo, who both live in Toechae Area of Zayarmon Ward and who were present near the scene at that time, sustained mine injuries. They were transported to the Kyaikto Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, and pieces of PVC pipe were found and seized near the scene, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security forces are investigating the perpetrators of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with laws.
