In order to cause casualties of peaceable people and administrative authorities who are working for restoring rule of law, extreme terrorists receiving financial assistance are carrying out destructive activities against public roads, streets and departmental offices with homemade bombs and mines.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 2 June at 1000 AM, according to the report that an explosion occurred near Myoma Sub Basic Education High School in Tedim Township, Chin State, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. According to the investigation, it is found that two homemade mines exploded approximately 20 feet outside the brick fence surrounding the school. As a result of the explosion, there were no injuries or damages to people or buildings, it is reported.
Similarly, on 2 June at 0825 AM, according to the report that an explosion occurred on the No. (1/12) Sitpin bridge at mile-post 11/1 of the Kyaukgyi-Natthankwin road located near Naungkone Village of Kyaukgyi Township, Bago Region, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. According to the investigation, it is found that Saw Shwe Ba, 42 years old, (Father) U Ba Sein, who lives in Thapyaygon Village, Saw Gaw Yay, 25 years old, (Father) U Tuu Lu, and Ko Nay Ye Soe, 26 years old, (Father) U Saw Nay Oo, who both live in Kyawlchan Village, were repairing the bridge, when a homemade mine planted by an armed insurgent group supporting terrorism and a so-called PDF terrorist group exploded. As a result of the explosion, all three individuals sustained mine injuries and were transported to the Natthankwin Circuit hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security forces are investigating the perpetrators of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with laws.
