In order to cause casualties of peaceable people and administrative authorities who are working for restoring rule of law, extreme terrorists receiving financial assistance are carrying out destructive activities against public roads, streets and departmental offices with homemade bombs and mines.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 9 June at 07:30 AM, according to the report that an explosion occurred in an empty yard located south of Zeephyugon Village of Pale Township, Sagaing Region, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. According to the investigation, it is found that Mg Moe Htet Yan, nine years old, (Father) U Min Zaw, Mg Min Htet Naing, nine years old, (Father) U Ngwe Aung, and Ma Thaw Thaw Chit, one year and three months (Father) U Zaw Phoe, who all live in this village, were playing at the scene, when a homemade bomb planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group (under scrutiny) exploded. As a result of the explosion, Mg Moe Htet Yan was dead from bomb shrapnel injuries while Mg Min Htet Naing and Ma Thaw Thaw Chit sustained bomb shrapnel injuries, and medical treatment is in progress, it is reported.
Similarly, at 03:00 PM, according to the report that an explosion occurred near a railway track located on the Meethwaykan Village - Pakokku Road in Pakokku Township, Magway Region, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. According to the investigation, it is found that Ma Yati Sein, 24 years old, (Father) U Myo Nyunt, who lived in No. (3) Ward of Pakokku Township, had purchased used materials and loaded them onto her motorcycle while leaving from Meethwaykan Village along the Meethwaykan Village - Pakokku Road. When she arrived at the scene, a homemade mine, which was mixed in with the used materials, exploded. As a result of the explosion, Ma Yati Sein was dead from mine shrapnel injuries, it is reported.
Likewise, at 03:30 PM, according to the report that an explosion occurred near Thoeboe Village of Kambalu Township, Sagaing Region, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. According to the investigation, it is found that U Chaw Oo, 39 years old, (Father) U Pyone, who lives in Htantapin Village of Kambalu Township, was travelling from Htantapin Village to Thoeboe Villagge on his motorcycle to purchase rice grains. When he arrived at the scene, a homemade mine planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group which exploded on right side of the road. As a result of the explosion, U Chaw Oo sustained mine shrapnel injuries and was transported to the Shwebo Township Public hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security forces are investigating the perpetrators of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with laws.
