In order to cause casualties of peaceable people and administrative authorities who are working for restoring rule of law, extreme terrorists receiving financial assistance are carrying out destructive activities against public roads, streets and departmental offices with homemade bombs and mines.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 15 June at 10:35 AM, according to the report that an explosion occurred at the No. (5) Medium Taxpayer Office of the Internal Revenue Department located on 60th road between 101st (A) and 102nd Streets in Myothit (1) Ward of Chanmyatharzi Township, Mandalay Region, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. According to the investigation, it is found that two male terrorists (under scrutiny), who were riding on a motorcycle from south to north along 60th road, threw a homemade bomb at the office. The homemade bomb landed and exploded at the car parking lot of the office. As a result of the explosion, the rear side of the KCN-3D/XXXX G Touring vehicle and SGG-7R/XXXX KIA vehicle parked nearby were damaged, while upper clerk of the office U Myint Than, 51 years old (Father) U Mya Than, sustained injuries from bomb shrapnel. He was transported to the Mandalay Public hospital for medical treatment. Additionally, pieces of tin and 15 iron balls from the homemade bomb were found and seized near the scene, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security forces are investigating the perpetrators of the acts of terrorism from the above incident in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with laws.
Two motor vehicles were damaged, and an office staff was injured by throwing a homemade bomb which exploded in Chanmyatharzi Township.
