In order to cause casualties of peaceable people and administrative authorities who are working for restoring rule of law, extreme terrorists receiving financial assistance are carrying out destructive activities against public roads, streets, railways and departmental offices with homemade bombs and mines.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 8 August at 06:15 PM, U Ko Ko Maung, 56 years old (Father) U Tin Nyunt, who lives in No. (1) Ward of Shwebo Township, Sagaing Region, was cutting grass along a fish lake boundary in the Butar (kha) Area of this Ward, when a homemade mine planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group exploded. As a result of the explosion, U Ko Ko Maung sustained injuries from bomb shrapnel and was transported to the Shwebo District Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security forces are investigating the perpetrators of the acts of terrorism from the above incident in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with laws.
