Terrorists Detonate “Koe Mile” Bridge Near Koe Mile Village in Ye Township 

    Extremist terrorists have been engaging in subversive activities, such as detonating mines and destroying roads and bridges used by the public, with the aim of severing road connections.
    Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 22 November, 2024 at 6:30 AM, a report stated that a group of KNU members who support terrorism, along with so-called PDF terrorists detonated Bridge No. 1/108 (Koe Mile Bridge), located between Ye-Dawei Road mileposts 107/1 and 107/2 near Koe Mile Village in Ye Township of Mon State. When security personnel promptly arrived at the scene for further investigation, it was discovered that the explosion had destroyed the approach asphalt road on the north side of the reinforced concrete bridge. The bridge measures 180 feet in length and 34 feet in width, while the damaged section of the approach road measured approximately 15 feet in length and 24 feet in width. As a result of the explosion, motor vehicles are unable to use the road; only motorcycles can navigate the damaged area, it is reported.
    Responsible officials are currently dedicated to swiftly repairing the damaged road. Meanwhile, security personnel are investigating the culprits behind the acts of terrorism mentioned above, aiming to take effective legal action. This effort aligns with the law and is geared towards upholding stability and peace in the region, it is reported.
